The dropout issue in India is of significance importance and interest. About 60 million children of primary school age still don’t have the privilege to go to school. The 2009 Right to children to the free and compulsory education act will ensure that the norms, standards and conditions are essential to accessible, quality elementary education are in place.

Ramagya Foundation’s UMEED is an initiative to provide primary education to the children who are out of school and inculcating the learning abilities and confidence to enroll in mainstream education. In association with Mahagun group, UMEED provides primary education to the children of construction workers through the participatory approach with a focus of developing keen interest and willingness to learn. Through our inventiveness we will not only develop the interest, we shall prove that with full passion we shall make them reach their destination with assasiveness.
