In a bid to encourage Clean India and to give tribute to Our Father of Nation, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi launched “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” at Rajpath in New Delhi on 2nd October 2014. Coming out in full support of the Prime Minister’s initiative, Ramagya School Noida contributed to this splendid campaign by conducting a drive on 23rd September 2019.
Various slogans were designed to bring focus to the core concerns of the Swachh Bharat campaign like Ban of Plastic, Use of Dustbins and Keeping the Public places clean. These activities included: essay writing, slogan writing and drawing competitions which encouraged students to think of innovative methods to put across the message of sense of responsibility towards our Nation.
Other aspects of this program included engaging the community and spreading the message about the merits of PM’s campaign. This was successfully achieved by performing awareness rallies which reached out to many people through its actions.
