Cloud Nine Hospital, in collaboration with Purusharth Charitable Society, organised a menstrual hygiene awareness camp in the Sorkha community. The session focused on helping women and girls understand menstruation in a simple and clear way, including how periods work and why hygiene during this time is important.
Participants were guided on the correct use of sanitary products and how to take care of their health during menstrual cycles. To support this, sanitary pads were also distributed, encouraging safe and healthy practices.
The team also spent time interacting with children, creating a comfortable and friendly environment for everyone present. These small interactions helped build trust and made the session more engaging.
The camp was a meaningful step towards spreading awareness about menstrual health and overall well-being, helping the community feel more informed, supported, and confident.
